I have found that the best way to solve this is to batch cook and portion them out ready for use.
Ingredients
MY FAVES
Chickpeas - the smaller the better
Black eyed beans
Azuki Beans
Butter Beans
Puy Lentils
Red Lentils
Method
HOW TO PREPARE THEM
I start off by selecting 3-5 types and soak them overnight in separate bowls. Next day you can either cook them in a pressure cooker that will only take you 10 minutes, or boil them separately until they are semi soft. If you are using them for cooking in dishes it is best to keep them al dente.
Once cooked, leave to cool off and portion out ready to freeze.
This way you will always have pulses ready to go into your meals that are chemical free and un-processed.
Remember you can use whichever types you want to, there are so many different varieties! Trust me I will show you a variety of dishes you can incorporate them into!
